Dear Parents and Guardians,
We want to keep you informed about our school meal charges. You can find the policy on CO local under our board policies.
Meal Charges and Grace Period
If a student’s meal account runs out of money, they will still be allowed to receive up to four meals on a grace period.

If a student’s meal account runs out of money, they will still be allowed to receive up to four meals on a grace period.
During this time:
- Parents/guardians will be notified, and we will provide a schedule for repaying the balance.
- Students will be allowed to charge for the regular meal choice during the grace period.
No extra fees or interest will be added to these meals.
After the Grace Period
If the student still doesn’t have funds after the four meals:
- The school will serve a nutritious alternative meal.
