VATRE - Tax Rate

  • Blanco ISD’s total tax rate declined from $1.1962 in 2018 to $0.7919 in 2024, a cumulative decrease of $0.4043 over that period.
     
  • Even with the proposed VATRE, the 2025 total tax rate of $0.8780 would remain below the 2022 rate of $0.9796.
     
  • Citizens 65 and over with an exemption will see no increase in their taxes as a result of the VATRE.
