Blanco ISD Cancels Classes Wednesday, February 24

We are pleased to announce that the City of Blanco has sounded the alarm to alert us of water starting to fill our town infrastructure.  According to the city, this will take 6-8 hours to complete.  Our plan is to start turning on our water tomorrow starting at BES @ 8:00 am and then we will make our way to other campuses.  We need time to assess each building for water leaks and fix them in a timely manner.  For this reason, we will be canceling school on Wednesday, February 24th.  Our plan is for BES to learn remotely on Thursday, February 25th, and then return to school in-person on Friday, February 26.  Starting Thursday, BMS and BHS will be remote only until we are able to remediate the water issues at those campuses.  We will know more by the middle of next week. Curbside breakfast and lunch will begin on Thursday.  Pick-up will be at BHS only. Look for more information to come to you soon with instructions from each campus.   

Wednesday - All campuses closed (no instruction)

Thursday - BES, BMS, and BHS Remote Learning Only 

Friday - BES students will return to campus.    BMS and BHS will continue remote learning until further notice. 

**Breakfast and lunch will be available for pickup @ BHS in the back parking lot from 9:30 – 11:00 AM on Thursday and Friday. A parent or child must be present to receive the meal.  A neighbor, grandparent, or sibling can NOT pick up the food**
