Due to an increased presence of law enforcement on the BISD campuses, there has been some confusion about schools possibly being targeted or on lockdown.

Please understand that we have increased law enforcement on all campuses simply as a precaution due to the school year coming to an end and the anniversary of the Uvalde tragedy.

BISD schools have not been targeted or on lockdown at any time today. 

We apologize for any confusion that has been caused and appreciate your understanding and patience.
